Senhora da Rosa

The Senhora da Rosa Hotel, located on the island of São Miguel, in Ponta Delgada, is located in an 18th century farm, with an area of 3 hectares, which provides you with the beauty and contact with nature typical of the Azorean essence and spirit. This small hotel has 35 rooms, all with different characteristics, but where modern lines and communion with nature are always present. The furniture is light, but with high quality details, which allows guests to feel and experience the atmosphere and spirit of the Azores more deeply.

Among the 35 rooms that this Senhora da Rosa Hotel has, we had the privilege of being able to enjoy theTranquility Garden Lodge. A wooden bungalow, set in the middle of a banana tree garden, which perfectly portrays the essence of a truly exotic experience! A truly unique experience, which transports us to any tropical forest in South America…, with details that will seduce anyone, such as the open-air bathtub overlooking the garden!

In thisTranquility Garden Lodge, wood is present everywhere. Even the details that seem simple, overflow with refinement, which allows you to combine the experience in the forest with the comfort of a quality Hotel, and thus relax and enjoy being in communion with nature.

O Senhora da Rosa Hotel, in addition to the traditional SPA with sauna and Turkish bath, it also has a paddle tennis court and an outdoor swimming pool.  One of the best hidden secrets of this wonderful Hotel is the hot water jacuzzi that we can find inside from the pineapple greenhouse! A true luxury to be in contact with the Azorean nature in such an intrinsic way. It is worth the visit just to enjoy this unique experience.

As for the restaurant, breakfast and other meals have a wide variety of delicacies, mostly from the island, such as milk, tea and the wide range of cheeses from the Azores.
